ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

If you are interested in giving a talk or presenting a poster at the 2026 Texas Bays and Estuaries Meeting, we encourage you to submit an abstract. Please fill out the ABSTRACT FORM and submit. Abstracts should be no more than 250 words.

Presenters will be chosen and notified. Presenters must attend the meeting in person. At this time, no virtual presenter options will be available.

PRESENTATIONS

Presentations will be approximately 15 minutes in length, including 2-3 minutes for questions.

POSTER

Poster dimensions should be no larger than 45 inches wide x 42 inches tall. The poster session will be on the evening of Wednesday, April 22nd, 2026.

STUDENT AWARDS

Thanks to the Coastal Bend Bays & Estuaries Program, there will be student awards for this year’s best student oral presentations and posters. Student posters and presentations will be evaluated by a panel of judges. Student posters will be awarded with 1st ($150), 2nd ($100), and 3rd ($50) prizes. Student oral presentations will be awarded with 1st ($200), 2nd ($150), and 3rd ($100) prizes.
