Welcome to the Texas Bays and Estuaries Meeting website. Since the early 2000s, this meeting has brought together scientists, students, coastal managers, elected officials, and members of the public to share research focused on the bay, estuary, and nearshore environments of the Gulf of Mexico.

The 2026 meeting will take place April 22–23, 2026, at the Patton Marine Science Education Center and the Mission-Aransas National Estuarine Research Reserve, both located on the University of Texas Marine Science Institute (UTMSI) campus. The conference will be hosted by UTMSI and the Mission-Aransas NERR. A virtual viewing option will be available via Zoom; however, please note that the virtual format will provide viewing only, with no interaction capabilities.
